What's In the Kit

Marker Flags

These flags mark the where you have nidden snakes and smell and also on the final game where the real snakes are.

Traget Stick

A target stick is used to teach a dog "where" to alert and to familiarize a dog with all parts of a human that can be alerted on. 

25 Foot Paracord

We recommend this type of round lead because it pulls through dense cover and woods easily. We have found that flat cotton or nylon webbing becomes heavy when wet, flaps in a light breeze, and does not pull free easily when snagged.

10 Foot Paracord

We recommend this type of round lead because it pulls through dense cover and woods easily. We have found that flat cotton or nylon webbing becomes heavy when wet, flaps in a light breeze, and does not pull free easily when snagged.

Rubber Snake

Not all the snakes in the kits look like rattlesnakes, however, the shape of any snake is always the same and the dog doesn't notice the difference in color or markings.  

Scent Tins

Scent tins are handy places to put your cotton scent items. This keeps them away from the dog wanting to eat them and from contaminating your hands with scent. 

Carry Bag

Included is a 9 inch yoga ball.  There are many games in the program that require a ball of this size for balance, for learning to push things, for problem solving and creativity training.

The program consults your dog’s intelligence, its fantastic nose and its ability to navigate its environment via that nose. Your dog will learn self-control when investigating new or interesting things, impulse control when movement catches its attention and kicks in the need to chase, the understanding of what to do when encountering a specific scent, sight and/or sound and how to alert any humans to the presence of a dangerous animal.
